The Reading Fair encourages students to develop a love for reading while strengthening their comprehension, research, and presentation skills. Open to students in 1st through 12th grades, the Reading Fair gives participants the opportunity to showcase a favorite book through creative and informative display projects.

Students compete at the school level, with winners advancing to district competition. District winners then have the opportunity to compete at the MAIS overall competition. Through the Reading Fair, students are challenged to think critically about literature, communicate their ideas effectively, and celebrate the joy of reading while representing Riverdale Academy at higher levels of competition.
